Writer's Block: A Bitter Pill to Swallow?

If you could get your exercise by taking a pill, would you? Why or why not?

You know, after first reading this I was thinking "Oh, hell yes!" mostly because I have a tendency to be lazy. Well, that might be a lie because my first thoughts were actually about the impossibilities of taking a pill for "exercise." I mean, what are we talking about here? Like a dose of adrenalin to increase heart rate and simulate a workout? Or would it be something to boost metabolism and burn calories faster? Yea, apparently I'm a little too literal/logical/sciene oriented sometimes.

After thinking about it a little more, I decided that I really wouldn't take a pill instead of exercise. I have some issues sometimes with being a generally angry person, so decent workouts are a relatively safe way for me to blow off some steam. Especially given some of the alternative methods I've used before, exercise is pretty important. Then we could also add in the fact that a lot of the time I need to wear myself out or else I'm not going to get any sleep. It takes me a ridiculously long time to fall asleep even if I want to go to bed, so over the past year or so I've been spending time in the gym in an attempt to burn off some of that excess energy/tire myself out so that I can sleep. So far coupling that ideology with waking up at 6:30-7 every morning has worked out (not so much recently since it's summer, but during the year it helps). So in short, no I would not take a pill instead of do an actual physical workout.

So I'm kind of bored and kind of in hockey withdrawal, so I've decided to compile a list of games I want to attend.

Penguins at Blue Jackets (Preseason) - September 24 - 7:00 PM
Penguins at Blue Jackets - October 30 - 7:00 PM
Blackhawks at Blue Jackets - January 16 - 2:00 PM
Blackhawks at Blue Jackets - February 14 - 5:00 PM
Blackhawks at Blue Jackets - March 25 - 7:00 PM

Mellon Arena
Assuming I get another Christmas game, it'd probably be one of the following:
Senators at Penguins - December 23 - 7:00 PM
Maple Leafs at Penguins - December 27 - 7:00 PM

I'll have to check and see if I'll be home on any fun game days. I'm also thinking about a possible road trip for a game. Have to put more thought into it, but who knows.

So I have a small list on my Blackberry of bands that I want to check out. I've started on a few of them, so here goes:

-Hollywood Undead- A little more hip-hop than I originally thought. Definitely download "Undead," possibly even "Sell your soul." I think actually like this group, despite my rather significant dislike of rap and hip-hop. So the verdict is: get Undead off of iTunes, maybe get the entire album off of Ruckus, or just listen to the songs on their MySpace.

-Black Strobe- Just listened to "Bloodshot Eyes," which several sources have listed as their best song. It's pretty good, a mix of electro and rock. Right now I'm hearing "Me and Madonna." The band's pretty good, but I don't know if I'd shell out the money for their album. Verdict: download it from Ruckus or somewhere else for free.

-Last of the Believers-

-Enter Shikari-

-Cobra Skulls-

-The Hottness-

-Vampire Weekend-

-Dub Trio-
What kind of birthmark do you have? How does it look? If you don't have one already, what kind of birthmark would you like to have?
So I saw this writer's block and absolutely had to answer it. Primarily because my friends and I had a conversation about birthmarks not too long ago. I have one birthmark that I can see (in a mirror). It's pretty high up on the right side of my butt. It's a strawberry mark, actually in the shape of a strawberry. I had no idea it was really a birthmark for the longest time. My friends jokingly said I was like "a damned My Little Pony," which I found hilarious beyond reason.
